One upcoming opportunity is outlined below, along with an attachment containing additional details:
Kristi has coordinated a mammogram screening event in partnership with Mercy’s Mobile Mammography Van. The van will be parked in front of the Central Office building on Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

This service is available to district staff, clinic patients, and community members. Mercy requires a minimum of 13 scheduled appointments to confirm the visit and prefers to pre-register patients by phone.

Please review the attached flyer for details, including eligibility and the phone number to reserve your appointment.

HKEL Tiger Families - Tomorrow is our LAST DAY of summer school! As a quick reminder, MSD will be pouring cement at their entrance tomorrow, beginning at 8:30 am. That side of S. Broadway is likely to be (partially) closed during arrival, and possibly even at dismissal. Please plan accordingly and leave extra time. Enjoy your summer!!!!! Together we ROAR!

If you have a child who will be the age of 3 on or before July 31, 2025, and not 5 years old yet, be sure to register them for our preschool program, free to residents and only $450 monthly for non-residents! If you have any questions, please contact our registrar at 314-544-1300, ext. 11070, or lvargas@hpsd.school! We also have low cost before and after care options at a low cost as well for most preschool students. Children are more likely to be prepared for Kindergarten and beyond if they have the opportunity to complete preschool! Feel free to share this with your friends who have children in this age group!

HEKL Tiger Families - This is a reminder that all Hancock School District offices, campuses, and buildings will be closed tomorrow, Thursday June 19th, in observance of Juneteenth. All facilities will reopen on Friday June 20th.
